Like few bands , Tokio Hotel " is known throughtout Europe.
Tokio Hotel are a german band consist of : Bill Kaulitz (vocals), Tom Kaulitz (guitar), Gustav Shäfer (drums) and Georg Listing ( bass).
Twins (Tom and Bill ) began very early to stand out in the music world . Tom play guitar since 7 years and Bill composed music since 11 years . 9 years act together since old (1999).
In 2001 , one their performances met Gustav and Georg and formed the band " devilish".
In 2003 the band was discovered producer Peter Hoffmann . Sony BMG has made acontract with them . Hoffmann called the David Jost and Pat Benzer for the production and authorship .
By Publisher don´t like the name of the " Devilish" changed to "Tokio Hotel ". Tokio because is the favorite city . Hotel - because they are always in hotels.
In 2005 , Universal Music Group did contract with the band .
The band realeased the first video for firt single-"Durch den Monsun",hit stores on August 15 and went directly to the first place of the sucesses of Germany and Austria . End oh September , the album was released in German - "Sherei" who also went top of the sales .
In 2007 ,released their secund album "Zimmer 483" and her first album in english- "Scream",has sold mor one million copies around the world and won the MTV(Eurpe Music Award) for Best interact . The former Zimmer 483 , spawned three top five singles in Germany while Scream resulted in two singles that reached the top twenty in new territories sush as Portugal ,Spain and Italy .
